ADCO Promotes David Cooper to Business Manager
ADCO Products Inc. of Michigan Center, Mich., has promoted David Cooper to the position of business manager, Window Assembly Systems (WAS). In his expanded role, Cooper will guide the strategic positioning of the company’s adhesive and sealant product offerings to the insulating glass and fenestration industries.
While serving as business development manager at ADCO, the company says he was responsible for increasing sales growth. Cooper also incorporated several new products into the lineup from the acquisition of Kömmerling and Chemetal IG sealant and cast resin divisions, including the thermo-plastic spacer.
PGT Names Todd Waggoner CFO
PGT Industries of Venice, Fla., has named Todd Waggoner, CPA, chief financial officer. He previously served as corporate controller, and has been with the company for 12 years. He will lead more than 30 of the company’s financial employees in PGT’s Florida and North Carolina manufacturing facilities.
“Todd’s performance as corporate controller since 1997 has readied him for this role with the company,” said Rod Hershberger, PGT president. “His cross-functional skill level and experience across key PGT operations—finance, manufacturing, product innovation, marketing and customer service—make him a valuable addition to the executive team.”
Sika’s Mark Daniels Earns InstallationMasters Certification
Mark Daniels, a product engineer with the industrial business unit of Madison Heights, Mich.-based
Sika, has received certification as an InstallationMaster trainer. Daniels completed the training program and passed the exam in late April.
“We are now in the process of training each of our area managers in the InstallationMasters program techniques,” said Barry Kutch, vice president of Sika’s industrial business unit. “This reinforces the value equation of our area manager expertise to Sika customers.”
Ultra Hardware Hires Tom Vinopal to Lead Sales Team
Ultra Hardware Products LLC of Pennsauken, N.J., announced that Tom Vinopal has become the national sales manager for its fenestration hardware business. Vinopal was most recently the director of business development of ClearShield Technologies. Prior to that, Vinopal spent more than 20 years with Allmetal Inc.
“Tom’s strong experience in sales, marketing and product development are sure to drive Ultra’s growing line of window and door hardware,” said Daniel Carpey, president of Ultra Hardware. “Tom brings to Ultra Hardware demonstrated management experience, leadership and a broad knowledge of the window and door industry, and I am confident Tom will drive our existing product lines plus our new casement hardware line to new heights.”
CRP Sales To Represent Dow Corning
CRP Sales of Livonia, Mich., has announced that it will promote Dow Corning's silicone fenestration products in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois and Kentucky. The company adds that Systems and Components Group and Tom Evans Sales will also provide coverage in these states.
Curt Pomerville of CRP Sales says he is looking forward to selling and promoting Dow Corning products.
