Springer Joins INEX as Sales and Marketing Manager
Michael Springer has joined INEX Spacer Inc. of Varennes, Quebec, as the sales and marketing manager for the United States and Mexico. The announcement was made by Sylvain Dube, president and general manager, to whom he will report.
Springer will be responsible for sales of INEX™ Spacer to insulating glass manufacturers in both countries. He will be based in Walbridge, Ohio.
In addition to sales of INEX spacers, Springer will develop a marketing strategy for the introduction of bending equipment that is used with the spacer. Prior to joining the company, he was a senior application engineer with the Guardian Industries Science and Technology Group.
American Weather Seal Names New GM
American Weather Seal of Orrville, Ohio, has announced that James Baughman has joined the company as general manager. Baughman brings more than 21 years of operations and management experience in the window industry. For the past three years he has been working in the dealer and distributor segment of the industry in central Ohio. Prior to this he held the position of assistant vice president for Jeld-Wen Inc. and was involved in the management of the 10 western U.S. vinyl and aluminum manufacturing facilities.
“With his deep operations and sales experience, Jim brings the skill sets necessary to accelerate American Weather Seal growth in the residential construction and remodeling markets, said Larry Haberman, president of the parent company Monarch Holdings Inc.
“He will begin by strengthening our production infrastructure and rationalizing the AWS vinyl product line. Longer term, Jim will focus on integrating all products into a simple, cost effective manufacturing platform to meet growing market demand.”
Ron Vollmer Joins ADCO Products
ADCO Products of Michigan Center, Mich., has announced the addition of Ron Vollmer as business manager for the company’s construction, assembly and private label businesses. Vollmer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Michigan and a Master of Business Administration degree from Case Western Reserve University.
Royal Mouldings Names New President and COO
Royal Mouldings Limited of Marion, Va., has announced that Arthur J. Ramey has been named president and chief operating officer (COO). Ramey has been an employee for the company for 31 years and has held various sales and marketing positions during that time.
Under his prior leadership, Royal Mouldings has had successful growth, made a conversion from a wood moulding company to plastics, introduced new products, entered into new markets and created brand recognition for our products, according to a release from the company.
Ramey has advanced from previous management positions to vice president of sales and marketing, president of Donner Mouldings and Millwork, executive vice president of sales and marketing and now his position as president and COO of Royal Mouldings.
Simonton Names New VP and General Manager and Coastal PR Coordinator
Simonton Windows of Parkersburg, W.Va., has a new vice president and general manager at its Vacaville, Calif., facility. Tom Riscili was promoted from his previous role as general manager at the company’s location in Vacaville which was recently moved to another facility in the city where the company can continue to grow.
“Tom worked diligently to deliver these improved sales and operating results, and is truly deserving of this promotion, Now, the Vacaville facility is poised to reach even greater levels of success,” said Rick Keup, president.
Riscili’s career incorporates more than 20 years of experience in executive and management positions in the manufacturing industry at American Alloys Inc. and SKW Alloys. He joined the company in 2000 and relocated to Vacaville in 2001.
The company has also hired Laura McCoy as coastal public relations coordinator. With 16 years of marketing experience, McCoy will be responsible for coordinating public relations for the company’s coastal products, as well as for arranging trade shows, conferences and other coastal events. In addition, she will oversee product donations to groups such as “Homes for Our Troops.”
Gilson Promoted to National Sales and Marketing Manager
Roto Frank of America Inc., headquartered in Chester, Conn., has appointed David Gilson as national sales and marketing manager. Gilson, whose experience in the construction and hardware industry spans nearly 16 years, is now responsible for the North American sales and marketing team. The team consists of four regional managers covering the East Coast, Midwest, West Coast and Canada, as well as 12 independent sales representatives.
Previously, Gilson was a product manager for the company and was responsible for new product development and marketing of window and door hardware to residential window and door manufacturers in North America.
Sara Theis has joined Therma-Tru Doors as the senior public relations manager. She will focus on promoting the company’s brand to consumers and trade professionals while leading the media relations program ... Saint-Gobain Corp. of Valley Forge, Pa., has named Todd Schock vice president/controller. Previously, he served as the corporate controller of the company’s Calmer business in California. Steven Messmer has also been promoted to vice president/tax from his previous position as the company’s vice president/controller.
