Tru Tech® Introduces the Belmont Series
Tru Tech Doors has 46 door styles to choose from with the introduction
of the Belmont fiberglass door collection. The product mimics the grain,
texture and construction of a handcrafted hardwood door. Belmont fiberglass
doors will be available in three grains-smooth skin, oak textured and
mahogany textured. The moulded fiberglass skin and polyurethane foam core
provide superior thermal performance, strength and durability, according
to the company.
The company says it offers a complete, all-products solution in doors
which includes an extensive product line of steel-edge, wood-edge, executive
and fiberglass doors, decorative and arteferro wrought iron glass, along
with a wide range of complementary accessories.
Get the Total Frame Defense
Cascade Wood Products says there is more than one way to save a frame.
Its new Total Frame Defense treats the entire door frame as opposed to
other products that only protect the bottom few inches of the frame, according
to the company.
The company’s Woodlife 111 preservative treating process treats the entire
frame, protecting it against rot/decay, splitting/checking, warping/twisting
and mold/fungi. The Woodlife 111 is a clear penetrating, non-swelling,
paintable water repellant wood preservative that meets the Window and
Door Manufacturers Association’s Hallmark Certification Program requirements.
Get Fashion and Function with TriSys
ODL will feature several products at AMD including its TriSys three-frame
The system features a millwork-inspired profile and a clean aesthetic
design with no screw hole plugs, according to the company, as well as
ODL’s FiberMate™ material. Company officials say FiberMate allows the
frame to have a dark finish without the risk of deformation due to heat,
and no special primer or preparation is needed. The TriSys frame system
is designed for standard glass and door cut-out sizes. It fits a wide
array of steel and fiberglass doors in popular glass sizes, according
to the company.
Agility Goes Mobile
Agility, a comprehensive ERP system, available from DMSi software, is
now accessible in the palm of your hand. Opti-mized for An-droid devices,
Agility Mobile Apps give companies access to key features and keeps them
connected to crucial items and customer data with just a few taps on your
tablet or phone, according to the company. The system allows companies
to access customer information, item availability, customer-specific pricing
WoodWare Enhances its Applications
WoodWare Systems will be showcasing many new enhancements to the suite
of its integrated applications. This includes WoodWare ERP with a new
browser-based user interface. This also includes updates to its WarehouseXT,
Warehouse Manage-ment System; DocXT, Document and File Management System;
and WebConnect, a browser-based web interface module for customers.
The company will also be demonstrating embedded active analytics that
allow companies to improve business by providing real-time critical information
and alerts “that you can immediately act on, as opposed to traditional
data warehousing that reports after the fact.”
Generation 4 Showcases Sill Pan and Lock
Generation 4 Sales says if you’re installing a door, be sure to install
a sill pan to reduce risk of water damage, as well as the
time required to install a door. The company adds that doing so also increases
performance of the sill and eliminates the need for caulking, and these
are easy to install.
The company will also have its Lockmaster on display, a multi-point door
locking system suitable for all material types.
The product comes in 1-, 3- and 4-hook models, in adjustable and non-adjustable
and offers easy modification for custom door heights. It is suitable for
single and double-door applications. Additional features include high
security hooks, a quick change reversible latch, grade 304 stainless steel
faceplates, an opposing center hook and an anti-slam mechanism.
