Zero Acquires Two Product Lines from LLBP
Zero International of The Bronx, N.Y., has announced the acquisition of the Door and Vision Lites product line of Burgaw, N.C.-based LL Building Products Inc., a division of GAF Materials Corp. Zero says its will continue to manufacture the door hardware line in Burgaw as a separate Zero facility called Advantage Lites & Louvers.
“We are very pleased to provide useful, complementary door products to our long-standing door-hardware customers,” said Elias Wexler, Zero president. “In addition, our lites and louvers customers can look forward to new features and enhancements, as well as new products that build on Zero’s traditional strengths in engineering, quality control and distribution.”

Graco Inc. Acquires Liquid Control Corp.
Graco Inc. has purchased the stock of Liquid Control Corp. and affiliated company Profill Corp. of North Canton, Ohio. According to the announcement, the acquisition includes Liquid Corp. subsidiaries Decker Industries Inc. of Palm City, Fla., and Liquid Control Ltd. of Wellingborough, U.K.
Liquid Control is a designer and manufacturer of highly engineered precision resin dispensing equipment solutions, and will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Graco Inc. It will continue to operate using the Liquid Control names and brands out of each of the existing manufacturing facilities.
Based in Minneapolis, Graco Inc. designs, manufacturers and markets systems and equipment to move, measure, control, dispense and spray fluid materials.

California Sheet Metal Works Acquires SDSMW Assets
California Sheet Metal Works Inc. (CSM) has announced the acquisition of the assets of San Diego Sheet Metal Works (SDSMW).
The company will begin working out of SDSMW’s Santee, Calif., plant this month. The acquisition will include machinery additions, an increase in workforce and additional space.

Matthews Announces Acquisition of Holjeron
Matthews International, based in Pittsburgh, has acquired Holjeron, of Wilsonville, Ore., an industrial controls manufacturer and supplier to Matthew’s marking products division.
As a wholly-owned subsidiary of Matthews, Holjeron will be managed by the marking products division, which plans to develop new marking products.
“With more and more customers requiring turn-key solutions, not simply better marking equipment, this acquisition gives us the ability to sell into those applications,” said Brian Dunn, president of Matthews’ marking products division.
According to Dunn, Holjeron’s technology provides precise material handling and tracking with minimal parts and wiring, while also being energy-efficient and quiet.
