Reflecting on IWFE Conference™
by Ed Golda
Hello, fellow tinters. Hope you are all well and ready for the 2004 season. I personally had the opportunity to attend the International Window Film Conference and Expo™ (IWFE) in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., in March.
While I was in Florida, hearing all your questions and concerns, several observations came to me:
1. I wondered, where are dealers that have questions about how to grow to the next level?
2. Between the seminars and the excitement of watching the best of the best in auto tinting, I couldn’t help but think about what a wonderful learning environment we have the opportunity to be a part of—we are all fortunate to have an event like the IWFE to attend.
3. I was amazed by all the excitement from dealers who picked up one or more ideas that they are taking back home to make an impact on their businesses.
4. Finally, I couldn’t get over how helpful the discussion and sharing of concerns and ideas among the dealers at IWFE was. Networking is one of the best ways to learn how to grow your business and the IWFE afforded lots of opportunities to do so.
Please let me encourage all my fellow dealers to attend every opportunity to grow and learn. Attend shows and seminars, join organizations and donate your time to worthy causes so that you and your business can grow.
And, don’t forget to spread the news about your company and the wonderful products you represent.
Thought for the Month
Seventy-percent of all the business you receive will come from repeat business and referrals from customers that are so impressed with the way you do business that they only want to deal with your company.
We will earn that loyalty by simply doing everything we can to ensure 100-percent customer satisfaction. Don’t chase new customers until you have done everything you can for your current customers.
If we just make a point of telling our story and informing people about our companies, then there are homes and businesses with security concerns and privacy issues that can be our business.
Well, I have to go make another sales call. If I can be of help to or your business, please write me at email@example.com or e-mail your questions to firstname.lastname@example.org and I’d be happy to address them in future articles.
