Two That Simplify Repairs from AEGIS

A vertical repair kit and a single shot resin, both from AEGIS International of Madison, Wis., help simplify the windshield repair process.

The vertical kit (KIT1310) overcomes the difficulty of repairing glass on large trucks and buses that pose a challenge due to their design. This kit allows the use of full vacuum and pressure while set-up on vertical glass. The company says its design is extremely user-friendly and eliminates leaking problems that have been associated with other vertical chambers.

The single shot resin dispenser contains enough resin to repair stone damage. With enough resin to perform a repair in an easy-to-use disposable tube, needles and syringes are a thing of the past. The company says single shots virtually eliminate contamination and excess wasting of the product, and also allows technicians to easily inventory resin stock. The product comes packaged with 25 units in an ultraviolet protective bag. In addition, AEGIS now offers all of its resins in new single shot packaging.
