Educational opportunities for the Auto Glass Business Abound

The Texas Glass Association, AGRR magazine, USGlass magazine, Window Film magazine and La Revista del Vidrio, Fachadas y Ventanas are sponsoring the annual Glass TEXpo™ 2001, dedicated to providing education and business networking opportunities to the auto glass industry. The Expo will be held on August 17 and 18 at the Adam's Mark Hotel San Antonio Riverwalk in San Antonio, Texas. In the state where everything is bigger and better, TEXpo promises to be a profitable learning experience for all that exhibit and attend.

Attendees can view exhibits from top companies in the auto glass industry, including specialties like auto glass repair, windshield replacement, films and tints, glazing supplies and much more. The exhibit hall will be open from 2 p.m.- 6 p.m. on Friday, August 17 and from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. and 1 p.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday, August 18. There will also be a series of seminars over the course of the weekend designed to educate and improve business practices by presenting new techniques, industry trends, and successful methods of improving your company. Avoiding employee lawsuits, understanding the new auto glass industry safety standards, and a two part series on auto glass selling and service are among the many topics presented in order to provide a competitive edge. Attendees can also view demonstrations of proper techniques for auto glass installation.

TEXpo also has plenty of social events not to be missed. The weekend will tee off with the fourth annual TGA TEXpo Golf Tournament on Thursday, August 16. On Friday evening, Texas Glass Association members, exhibitors and interested members of the glass industry are invited to the welcoming cocktail party to unwind and socialize over cocktails and hors d'ouevres. Palmer Mirro-Mastics is sponsoring the TGA Awards Luncheon on Saturday, August 18, at which the Lou Green Award will be presented to an outstanding member of the Texas Glass Association. The weekend will wind down with a historical tour of the city aboard the Riverwalk Dinner Cruise.

The networking opportunities at Glass TEXpo™ 2001 are endless with attendance expected to exceed 1,000 key decision-makers in the glass industry. Being the only regional show dedicated to providing education to Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, the Gulf States and Northern Mexico, this event has become a useful tool for those driven to become industry leaders.
