Gore Accepts Position with AGR GroupPaul Gore
Pilkington's Paul Gore, residential product manager with the building products group, has accepted a position in the company's auto glass replacement group as account manager-OEM aftermarket. The transition was effective March 24. He has relocated to Columbus, Ohio. Gore reports directly to Bill George, director of marketing, in his new position.

Gore began his career with Pilkington in 1981. He has previously worked in field sales for the automotive glass replacement division before transferring to the building-products group, for which he has held several positions. Most recently, he served as business segment leader-building products.

PPG Promotes Three 
Pittsburgh-based PPG Industries has promoted several within its ranks. David P. Morris, global general manager of sales and marketing for the aerospace business unit of PPG Industries, has been named vice president, aerospace. He replaces Dennis Kovalsky, who has been named vice president for the company’s automotive coatings business. Kovalsky replaces Richard Zahren, who recently announced his retirement. 

Dow Automotive Awards Zhou for New Adhesive
Lirong Zhou, senior development chemist for Dow Automotive/Essex ARG, based in Dayton, Ohio, recently received the Robert Cramer Award 
for Excellence in Technology Development for SPEEDLINK™ U-208 single-component, fast, safe drive-away time windshield adhesive. The award is given each year by the Dow Global Development Scientist Organization.
