Repair All About It
NWRA Annual Conference to be Held in Vegas in March
by Brigid O'Leary

The Independent Glass Association’s (IGA) Independents Days and Spring Glass Show is not the only industry convention going on in Las Vegas the first week of March. The National Windshield Repair Association (NWRA) is holding its annual conference at the Cashman Center in Las Vegas. Though separate events, both the NWRA and the IGA events are headquartered at the same hotel, the Golden Nugget in Downtown Las Vegas.

Attendees are invited to start their experience in Las Vegas with a round of golf in the Golf Tournament at the Legacy Golf Club on Wednesday, March 1. Registration for the four person teams begins at 7:30 a.m. and a shotgun start is to begin promptly at 8:00 a.m. The game will be played as a four-person scramble, where each team member hits one tee shot and the team decides which shot is best and all four players may hit from the location of that shot. Registration for the event is $199 per person and that includes golf cart and green fees, meal and prizes.

Social activities continue Wednesday evening with a welcoming cocktail party.

Seminars start on Thursday, March 2 with an opening address by NWRA president Paul Syfko as he provides an overview of the conference, NWRA’s work in the past year and a preview of its strategy for the future.

Other topics covered at this year’s conference include: “Understanding the Standards that Affect the Auto Glass Industry: AGRSS and ROLAGS,” a special “How-to-Keep-Every-Repair-Job” workshop, “Understanding METRYX,” and a look at “NWRA’S new affordable heath plan.”

The NWRA annual convention is now in its tenth year and will be taking place in Las Vegas at the same time as the Independent Glass Association’s (IGA) annual Independents’ Days conference and Spring Glass Show and the International Window Film Tint-Off and Conference. All three groups may attend the Spring Glass Show as part of their registrations.

Full conference registration for NWRA members runs $200 after the February 13 pre-registration deadline and $400 after that date for non-members. Spouses and guests can register for $175.00. To register online, visit
