APPOINTMENTS
Pilkington Names New NW Sales Manager

Daniel Plotnick has joined Pilkington North America as it sales manager for the Northwest United States and Canada. Plotnick, who will be based in Seattle, will be responsible for Alaska, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Wyoming, Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan. 

Prior to joining Pilkington, Plotnick served as a sales representative for the commercial hardware division of Stanley Tool and Hardware, where he worked with distributors and architects in the Pacific Northwest.

Hill Joins GMB International 
Peter Hill has joined GMB International Distribution Inc.’s sales force as technical sales representative for Western Canada. Hill has a long history in the industry having been responsible for the sale of insulating glass sealants in Western Canada for Morton International (now Rohm and Haas) for more than 23 years.

Levine Named Director of Planning for Republic
Chicago-based Republic Windows & Doors has announced the appointment of David Levine as director of strategic planning, new construction. He will report to Republic chief operating officer Les Teichner.

Levine holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Chicago and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Previouly, Levine held positions at MarketBridge, a sales and marketing consulting firm in Bethesda, Md., and CertainTeed Corp.
