Bob Persha Returns to ViWinTech as General Manager
Vinyl Window Technologies (also known as ViWinTech) of Paducah, Ky., has announced Bob Persha has returned to the company as general manager and chief financial officer (CFO). Persha filled the position of former general manager Kevin Knotts, who has left the company. Persha is a familiar face at ViWinTech. From 1997 thru 2000, he served as general manager and CFO at the sister company, AlumaKraft. His 25 years of senior management experience also includes his work as CFO for the Paducah and Louisville Railroad and vice president of finance for VMV Enterprises.

The company also announced that Jeremy Scott has accepted a sales representative position. Scott will serve customers in west Tennessee, Arkansas, eastern Oklahoma, western Kentucky and northern Mississippi. Additionally, Paul Abrams has been hired as an independent sales representative to serve customers in North Carolina, northern South Carolina and southern Virginia.

Edgetech I.G. Ramps Up Factory Direct Service
Edgetech I.G. of Cambridge, Ohio, has hired two new regional sales managers, Shawn Hannux and Tony Palandrani.
Hannux joined the company as the regional sales manager for the Northeast United States, which includes the New England states as well as New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

An 18 year veteran of the fenestration industry, Hannux has held sales positions for Ultrafab, Advantage Manufacturing Corp. and Pace Window and Door.

The company also welcomes Palandrani as regional sales manager trainee. Palandrani holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Dayton and has experience in news reporting and broadcasting for ESPN, the Cleveland Indians and other cable networks, Edgetech reports.

He currently lives in Columbus, Ohio, but is based out of Edgetech’s corporate office in Cambridge.

Great Lakes Window® Names Tim Finke Regional Sales Manager
Tim Finke has recently joined Great Lakes Window of Toledo, Ohio, as regional sales manager for the Midwest.
Based in Carmel, Ind., Finke will manage the Midwest sales team and lead business development initiatives, with customers throughout a 19-state region.

Finke previously worked as a marketing manager and regional sales manager for Caradco® Windows and Doors, a division of Alcoa. He maintained his position after the company was acquired by JELD-WEN® Windows and Doors in the late 1990s.

Bystronic Glass Group Appoints New Operations Manager
Bystronic Glass Group Inc. of Hauppauge, N.Y., has promoted Francesco Pedrazzini to the position of operations manager.
Pedrazzini began his career more than 18 years ago as a Bystronic customer service field representative in Switzerland. He has extensive experience in electronic repair, technical support, customer service, training, hotline support and installation and has worked for Bystronic in both Europe and the United States.

GED Promotes Bill Weaver to VP of Sales and Service
GED Integrated Solutions of Twinsburg, Ohio, has promoted Bill Weaver to vice president of sales and service.
Weaver will oversee domestic and international sales activities as well as service, training and customer support offerings. He has more than 23 years of experience in the door and window industry. A nine-year employee of GED, he served most recently as director of sales.

Weaver earned his master’s of business administration from Cleveland State University and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Bowling Green State University.
