Ashland Expands LX Series of Sash Locks
Ashland Hardware Systems has expanded its line of LX-series sash locks for both hung and slider windows, and this includes the new LX-3, LX-4 and LX-5 versions.
The LX-5 has a new spring-action lever that delivers a firm feel and response to the lock’s open and closed positions, according to the company. The new spring design ensures that the lock is not left between the open and closed positions, minimizing potential damage to the cam and keeper or the window.
All new versions have been tested to exceed industry cycle testing standards by more than two and half times, according to Ashland, and are offered in a variety of colors and finishes. The products are available in either the industry standard 0.687- or 0.437-inch hole locations.
