The company says its FB will not rub off or wear like oil-rubbed bronze plating and will retain its appearance long after it is installed. The color is available for both door and window hardware products.

Truth also will display its new handle designs for the sliding patio door market. The company’s new Signature and Allure handle sets have a new contoured shape that is designed to be easier to grasp. The handles also are available with locking options that include placing the key lock above the handle. Get the Strength of a TITAN™ from Roto
TITAN, a new sliding patio door locking system that combines strength and security with installation flexibility, is now available from Chester, Conn.-based Roto Frank of America Inc. The locking system, which meets AAMA specifications, is comprised of an ergonomically designed interior “Malibu” handle set, a mounting base, a latch lever and an exterior pull. Customers currently can choose from 2-point, 4-point and 6-point lock assemblies.

The company plans to add another interior handle design to the TITAN series in the coming months. TITAN’s 2-point version has two opposing hooks to prevent the door panel from being lifted off the track and out of the frame. All lock assemblies have a mishandling device to prevent damage to the locking hooks when closing the door. In addition, on the interior assembly, the mounting screws are side-mounted for a cleaner appearance. Available in both locking and non-locking configurations, TITAN has a locking/unlocking detent feature that indicates positive lock or unlock status. For maximum security, the non-locking version is available with a security plate and an anti-drill feature on the exterior pull.

TITAN is available in three standard colors, G2 white, blue white and almond as well as seven architectural finishes including brass, antique brass, chrome, brushed chrome, oil rubbed bronze, pewter and brushed nickel. Custom colors, custom handles and custom logos on the escutcheon are available upon request. Trim packages include an interior handle, a mounting base, a latch lever, and an exterior pull. Locking configurations are available keyed alike or keyed random. Strikers with varying heights and cylinders in either a chrome face or brass face are also available. www.rotohardware.com

Univer 500 Line Available from Ameri-Can
Ameri-Can Machinery in Mississaugua, Ontario, will offer the Univer 500 D2K 500 and the D2K/22 electronic double-head cutting machines. The machine line is designed for the cutting of aluminum and PVC profiles and is equipped with a fixed left-hand head and a mobile right-hand head. The carriage has an automatic linear positioning by means of an asynchronous motor and has a magnetic rule length control system. Both models have an electronic programmable control unit, a retro-illuminated 80-character LCD, a protected touch-sensitive keyboard and an RS 232C serial line.

The software that accompanies the Univer machine line permits the cutters to cut in semiautomatic mode, with correction of the measurements in 45-degree cuts and intermediate between 45 degrees and 90 degrees. Up to 200 profile heights can be stored. Likewise, the system can create and memorize 40 fixture typologies using mathematical formulae, which allow it to calculate cutting lists with the setting of the external measurements of the fixture.

The machine series also can store and run seven cutting lists of 380 lines each, which can be entered by keyboard from an external PC connected to the machine via a RS 232C serial line. www.ameri-can.ca

In addition, American Renolit will display its FAST brand of exterior laminate film for PVC window decoration.
