Truth’s Patio Door Handles Have New Shape
The latest sliding patio door handles from Truth Hardware, the Signature™ and Allure™ series, have a new contoured shape, which is designed to be easy to grasp. Locking options include placing the keylock above the handle. The handles are available in solid brass and in Truth’s entire palette of decorative and painted finishes, and both also come with optional escutcheon designs and sizes to complement large doors.

One Strike for All
Security Door Controls in West Lake Village, Calif., says it has one strike with all the features customers need. The new SDC 45 series strike accommodates locksets with up to ¾-inch latch bolts and its heavy-duty, all-stainless-steel design is loaded with features to allow adaptability to virtually any access control application, according to the company. Standard features include field reversible fail-safe/fail-secure mode, ¼-inch horizontal alignment adjustment, keeper closed and deadlocked status output, latch position status output, 12/24V AC/DC operation, a low profile with 11⁄8 inches depth, mounting tabs and wire connectors. www.sdcsecurity.com

Magnolia Incorporates Safety Warning on Pull/Lift Tab
Magnolia Metal & Plastic Products Inc., located in Vicksburg, Miss., has released its second-generation new safety warning pull/lift tab, which now can be used with all frame profiles industry-wide, including patio door screens. The tab corner originally debuted in 2006 and was designed for the commonly used roll-formed screen frame. Magnolia says the new safety warning pull/lift tab is cost-effective, as adhesive labels used for the warning applications no longer will be needed. The tab incorporates the industry-recognized safety warning on the body of the pull/lift tab. www.magnoliametal.com

LCS Offers New Door Plug Concept 
The LCS606C friction plug from LCS Precision Molding is installed in one easy step and requires no special tools, according to the Waterville, Minn.-based company. The plug is installed through the jamb hole bore. LCS says the LCS606C also is ergonomically friendly and eliminates the need to attach another part through the latch hole. The plug can be used in both exterior and interior doors.

Other benefits include that it its secure friction fit resists vibration and it fits a ¾- by 1-inch rectangle bore hole. www.lcsplastics.com

Latest Hinge from Savio Offers Three-Way Adjustments
Orlando, Fla.-based American Douglas Metals, offers the latest hinge from Europe-based Savio, the B&P MECHANICA. The brand-new hinge offers toughness, three-way independent adjustments, durability and easy installation, according to the company. The B&P MECHANICA is made for aluminum, wood or vinyl door applications both in two- and three-wing versions. Likewise, it offers three-way, simple and independent adjustments (lateral, vertical and closing pressure) and is available in a wide range of colors. www.americandouglasmetals.com

Dressed to Kill
AMSCO Windows in Salt Lake City says it has enhanced its sliding patio doors with new hardware designs and options. New designs are available in four popular plated finishes.

The company says it has responded to customers’ requests by adding new D-style handles on the interior and exterior of its Heritage Series Contemporary-style patio door. Its Renaissance Series sliding patio door also features updated hardware for a more elegant feel. The handle is longer than its predecessor, is asymmetrical in appearance and comes standard with a keyed lock. New plated hardware is designed to match existing home hardware and comes in oil-rubbed bronze, brushed nickel, antique brass and polished brass. www.amscowindows.com

Aribell Hinges are Now Self-Closing
Aribell Products in Woodbridge, Ontario, now offers its self-closing spring-loaded hinges. The hinges, which are available in brass and stain chrome, work with outswing and inswing doors and come complete with a hex wrench for adjusting tension. Generation 4 Offers Door Clip, Lift Handle and Sill Door Pan
Generation 4 Sales has added several new products to its line. Its latest door clip is designed to secure a door for shipping and to support proper installation. The company’s lift handle is designed to lift and position heavy patio doors, leaded window doors and windows easily. Generation’s new door sill pan is designed to reduce the risk of water damage to carpets and hardwood floor and to provide quick and easy installation. 

Mini Die Casting Launches Composite and Aluminum Sash Locks
The new line of composite and aluminum sash locks from Mini Die Casting Inc. feature all the properties of the company’s zinc locks but are created from sleek, lightweight materials, the Fort Worth, Texas-based company says. Both have been tested and have met the ASTM E-330-02 Structural Performance and ASTM F 588-04 Forced Entry criteria. The company notes that its composite and aluminum sash locks reduce freight costs and provide a seamless transition from zinc hardware. In addition to its newest line of sash locks, Mini Die Casting also provides pivot bars and tilt latches, along with Custom Components. www.ag-tech.net

CRL Introduces Atlas Series of All-Glass Door Hinges
Los Angeles-based C.R. Laurence Co. Inc. (CRL) says its brand-new Atlas Series of “All-Glass” door hinges are ideal for large interior glass doors. With two of the double-acting Atlas Hinges installed, an “all-glass” door weighing up to 140 pounds with a maximum width of 39 inches can be created, according to CRL.

The Atlas hinge has automatic closing function with adjustable spring strength that eliminates the need for any closer mechanism and will close the door from any position. When fully opened, the hinge will remain open at 90 degrees. The Atlas hinges are available in chrome, brass, oil-rubbed bronze and brushed nickel finishes, and accommodate 5⁄16- to ½-inch tempered glass. www.crlaurence.com
