Guardian Names Two New Execs
Steven D. Ziessler has been named president of Guardian Building
Products (GBP).
Martin Bracamonte has been named vice president of science and technology
for Guardian Flat Glass.
Ziessler succeeds Duane Faulkner, who is retiring after more than
30 years as division president. He will oversee the worldwide operations
of Guardian’s building products business in-cluding manufacturing, marketing,
distribution and product development. He brings experience from domestic
and international companies including Clearwater Paper, Cellu Tissue and
Kimberly-Clark.
Bracamonte will oversee the company’s research and development activity
at its center in Carleton, Mich. Since joining Guardian in 2010, Bracamonte
has been responsible for Guardian’s energy product development activities,
specifically its solar segment. Prior to joining Guardian he served in
a variety of roles at Pilkington, including general manager of Pilkington
(NSG) Chile; vice president of operations for Pilkington (NSG) North America;
and plant manager at Pilkington (NSG) VASA Argentina.
CGI Windows and Doors Names Tom Riscili as CEO
CGI Windows and Doors Inc. has hired Tom Riscili as its new president
and chief executive officer.
Riscili has more than a decade of experience in the building products
industry, most recently having served as president of Fypon Ltd., a division
of Fortune Brands. Prior to that he was vice president of Simonton Windows,
with specific responsibility for its West Coast window business, including
operations, product design, sales and marketing.
Riscili succeeds Brian Evans, who is no longer with the company.
Arkema Inc. Hires Market Development Manager for PVC Additives
Arkema Inc. has appointed John W. Pruett as its new market development
manager for the functional additives division. In this role, he is responsible
for developing new acrylic Plastistrength® and Durastrength® business
with
a strong focus in the rigid PVC and cellular PVC foam and profile
markets.
Pruett has more than ten years of marketing and business development experience
through various positions at CertainTeed/Saint-Gobain, Principia Partners
and Propex. He most recently ran his own industrial market research and
advisory services firm, Radnor Research and Advisory Services LLC.
Intigral Names Bradley CEO
Intigral Inc., an insulating glass provider, has announced that Tom Bradley
has moved from his position of president to become chief executive officer/chairman
of the board.
After serving the past six years as vice president of operations, Jamey
Beard has taken over as president.
Additionally, Dan Brown has been promoted to vice president of operations
and is now responsible for all Intigral manufacturing facilities. He previously
held the position of plant manager at the company’s facility in Walton
Hills, Ohio.
DAC Products Announces Management Changes
DAC Products has announced several corporate organizational changes.
Bonnie Edwards has been named plant manager. She succeeds Squire
Irwin, who now
will serve as operations manager. Cathy Lynch will assume expanded
responsibilities as the current human resources and accounting manager.
Chris Hodges will increase his responsibilities as business development
manager.
“The management changes we are making are consistent with our longer-term
strategy to become a lean, well-functioning and efficient enterprise as
we plan for our future growth,” says Tony Smith, president, DAC Products.
Irwin, Lynch and Hodges will report directly to Smith, while Edwards will
report to Irwin.

Marvin Honored by Bemidji
Susan Marvin, president of Marvin Windows and Doors, received Bemidji
State University’s 2011 Distinguished Minnesotan Award during the University’s
2011 commencement ceremony in May.
