PRYSM Marketing
Expands Sales Team

Aaron Elliott
has joined the
sales team at PRYSM Marketing.

He is based in Atlanta and will be covering North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida.

PRYSM Marketing Inc. markets and sells component parts and related products to manufacturers of doors, windows and insulating glass in the eastern United States.


Chelsea Building Products Hires Lipsius, Promotes Hartman
Chelsea Building Products announced the addition of Mark Lipsius as business development manager of specialty products. He will focus on expanding Chelsea’s customer base in that sector.

Lipsius has worked in the sales and marketing of building products for 27 years, both in distribution and manufacturing.

The company has also promoted Gary Hartman to the role of vice president of
sales and marketing. Hartman began his career in the door and window industry more than 30 years ago with Season-All Industries in 1983, then worked at Chelsea from 1985-1995, where he held various sales and marketing positions. From 1995–2008, he continued to work in the fenestration industry in product management, sales and marketing management. Since rejoining Chelsea Building Products in 2008, he has been involved in marketing communications, customer service management, customer relations, new business and product development.


Marvin Promotes Dan Marvin to VP of Business Development

The Marvin Companies have promoted Dan Marvin to vice president of business development.

In this new role, he’ll be responsible for identifying opportunities to expand the company’s portfolio in ways that align with its mission and vision, according to a release.

Dan, a fourth-generation Marvin family member, joined the company in 1998. Most recently, he was the business manager for Infinity Windows and Doors, Marvin’s premier line of fiberglass replacement windows, where he was responsible for the brand’s introduction and growth.


Crystal Window’s Li Gets Major Honor;
Company Recognizes Top Customers

Janice Li, the sales administration manager for Crystal Window & Door Systems, was one of several individuals to receive the Queens 2015 Top Women in Business Award at a gala reception on May 14 at Terrace on the Park in Queens, N.Y.

The Top Women in Business Award recognizes influential women leaders from the business, non-profit and government sectors who are having a positive impact on Queens and the city of New York.

“I am truly honored to receive this award and all it represents,” says Li. “My work with one of the largest New York area manufacturers and its branches around the country has afforded me many opportunities. I appreciate the confidence Crystal executives have placed in me, the experience I’ve gained, and the contributions I’ve been able to make to the company. I also would like to thank my fellow co-workers at Crystal for their support and encouragement.”

Li and her staff of 12 sales and customer service representatives manage accounts that represent more than 2,000 contractor and window dealer customers and millions in sales annually, which have increased 30 percent over the past five years due in part to the programs she has implemented, according to the company.

Li joined Crystal in 1997 after graduating from Stony Brook University—State University of New York (SUNY) with a double major in business management and economics.

Meanwhile, Crystal Window & Door Systems, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary in business this year, honored its top sales volume trade customers in May at Terrace on the Park. The theme of the celebration was The Nineties, in honor of Crystal’s founding in 1990.
