G-U Hardware Announces Casement System

G-U Hardware of Newport News, VA, has a casement system which is made entirely in North America. The patented crank operator is created from a composite material which is more resistant to corrosion than zinc metal based materials, and is available in split arm and straight arm versions, according to the company. The stainless steel multi-point locking bar has adjustable mushroom head cam rollers that slide into nylon locking plates. The one-piece design is available in multiple lengths and eliminates the need for additional mounting brackets, according to the company.

Coates Screen, Inc. of St. Charles, IL, offers Crystal, a UV-curing screen ink formulated for printing on glass and ceramic. According to the company, Crystal GLS can be printed on sheet glass for gaming machines, decorated mirrors, glass containers and ceramic objects. The company says fully-cured Crystal has resistance to water condensation and low-temperature immersion.


Naturalite® Introduces Versalite™ Skylight System

Naturalite Skylight Systems of Terrell, TX, has introduced the Versalite Skylight system. It is designed with a fully guttered framing system which is shipped fully assembled and pre-glazed. Other features include integral condensation, gutters, one-piece glazing caps and no exposed fasteners in a dry-glazed system. A thermal break between the one-piece cap and the framing members is created by a glazing clip. The perimeter framing is also thermally broken in order to ensure maximum energy performance is achieved. The system is available in standard sizes up to eight-square-feet.
