Come Ashore for Glass Expo Hawaii™ 2003
Looking for a way to escape those winter blues of February? Then make plans now to attend Glass Expo Hawaii, February 13-15, at the Outrigger Wailea Resort in Maui, Hawaii, sponsored by USGlass magazine.

The educational expo will offer seminars covering a range of relevant industry topics, as well as a trade show. Seminar topics include sales and marketing for glass shops, the state of the contract glazing industry, what's new in architectural glass and many more. Exhibitors will also offer the latest in products and services.

But all work and no play is no way to spend a trip to Hawaii. With that in mind, an authentic Hawaiian luau will take place the evening of Friday, February 14. Other ways to spend some extra time include visiting the beaches, golfing, volcano tours and plenty more. To learn more visit www.glass.com and click on educational events.

46th Annual CSI Show Rolls Through Las Vegas
Las Vegas played host in June to the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) convention and exhibit, when the fourth annual event rolled through June 26-30. More than 1,000 exhibitors from 16 different specification classes took part in the event.

CSI 002 A number of glass- and metal-related companies, including Arch Aluminum, exhibited at the 2002 CSI show.

The glass and glazing segment’s primary manufacturers such as Guardian, PPG and Visteon, were on hand, while AFGD, Arch Aluminum, General Glass, Interpane, Oldcastle and Viracon headed up the fabricator segment.

Attendance was strong, as conventions in Las Vegas usually seem to be, and exhibitors appeared pleased by the heavy traffic volumes that visited their booths.

Next year the CSI show will join forces with the Facility Forum group to form the new Construct America show in Chicago, April 9-11, 2003.
