Craftsman Fabricated Glass’s New Plant to Be Viewed Live on glass.com®

For the first time ever, glass industry Internet explorers will have the opportunity to watch a new glass plant being built from the ground up. Craftsman Fabricated Glass Ltd. located in Houston and Key Communications Inc., publisher of USGlass magazine and producers of glass.com and USGNN, are working together to create a web exclusive.

By visiting the architectural glass site of www.glass.com and clicking the link, “Watch A Glass Plant Being Built,” Internet visitors can view an informational page that provides the background and explanation of Craftsman’s new 115,000-square-foot plant located in Houston.

The information site will then link directly to the webcam, which refreshes the images every three seconds for a continual play-by-play of activity. The link will be live and running 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Viewers can tap in at any point of the day to see the latest progress.

USGNN, the online service that brings daily glass industry newsletters to online subscribers, as well as postings of daily occurrences at www.usgnn.com, is proud to also support this event. A first for USGNN, the website looks forward to bringing additional multi-media opportunities for others in the near future.

Founded more than 20 years ago, Craftsman is comprised of seven divisions that supply products to the glazing industry. A certified fabricator of PPG’s Solarban products as well as Guardian’s low-E glass, Craftsman is pleased to announce this addition.
