Walker Glass Announces Staff Changes

Walker Glass Co. Ltd. in Montreal has announced promotions and additions to its sales force in North America. 
Rocco Ficara has been promoted to oversee major accounts. He has been with Walker Glass since 2004 and was instrumental in the development of the Textures brand of acid-etched glass and mirror products. 
Mike Bomok will manage sales in Eastern Canada. Bomok brings with him more than 30 years of sales and management experience. 
Shaun Kennedy will oversee sales in the Northeastern United States. He has been involved in the glass industry for more than 20 years, including time as owner of his own glass distribution and fabrication business. 
Steve Schuster has been charged with sales in the Western United States. He has been involved in the glass industry for more than 35 years, including serving as president of the former Laminators Safety Glass Association. 

PPG Promotes Two

Pittsburgh-based PPG Industries has announced that Gary Danowski, director of global operations, aerospace, has been named vice president of performance glazings. Danowski has been with the company in various roles since he joined PPG in 1982 as a production engineer.
In addition, Charles F. Kahle II, vice president of coatings research and development, is taking on additional responsibility as chief technology officer. Kahle will direct responsibility for coatings research and development.
