IG production lines, small-run—the CRL Hot Melt Clamp Table (HMCST) has heavy-duty tubular steel construction. The HMCST  
consists of a CRL 84” x 84” ball caster table and a pair of air actuated padded clamp rails. The table’s 2”diameter ball casters are  
spaced 6” apart. A foot actuated clamping system frees the operators’ hands for positioning of the IG package while holding an edge  
sealant gun. Washing machines—The CRL 63” Open Top Vertical Glass Washer can wash glass to 63” wide in one pass, and up to

Capabilities  
Handling equipment—The THOM 2000 is a fork-attached adapter to turn any telescopic handler into a remote controlled, multi-axis  
glass manipulator. It has a 2000 lb. attachment capacity, and other sizes are available. Especially useful for the rough terrain of job  
sites; grips any smooth material. Operates independently of handler by remote control. The GM 2000-12 is a glass and materials  
handler that can lift a 2000 lb. payload to 12 feet high on center. From there, the manipulator can tilt forward and back, left and right,  
shift side to side, perform Ergo’s optional EZ pick maneuver, and rotate. It is also capable of installing fenestration from the inside  
out. The GM 2000—12 can fit through a standard man-sized door; The GM 2000-12 EXT is glass and materials handler that can lift a

000 lb. payload to 16 feet high on center; skylight height is up to 18 feet. From there, the manipulator can tilt forward and back, left  
and right, shift side to side, perform Ergo’s optional EZ pick maneuver, and rotate. It is also capable of installing fenestration from the

FC1000™ tempering furnace with the new Glaston Chinook Pro™ convection system transfers heat more accurately and uniformly  
than conventional convection systems. The accuracy is achieved with an extreme air volume blown on the top and bottom of the glass  
at low pressure. This design results in a uniform heat transfer ensuring high quality for all glass types and thicknesses, especially  
low-E glass; Performance boost: RC200™, RC350™, FC500™ and GlastonAir™ heating chamber replacements. Glaston’s heating  
chamber upgrades are a cost-efficient way of lengthening the lifecycle of existing process machinery and improving overall profitabil-

modular line construction; Grinders—KBF edge processing machine, risk minimization when processing large, heavy glass sheets; no  
mounting and dismounting of the table; coated glass sheets can be processed; low staff requirement for loading and unloading large  
glass sheets; vertical design reduces floor space requirement; Tempering line machinery—Aeroflat tempering furnace, the LiSEC air  
cushion tempering furnace has been developed especially for batch operation. The tempering system is inclined at 15°. Inside the  
heating and the quenching zones, glass sheets are transported on air cushions and only the bottom glass edge is touched by the  
transport system.

The MRC2850 is capable of processing glass up to 86” wide. The MRC2850 is capable of coating glass or other materials with

Handling equipment—QComp engineers designed a cell layout featuring two robots and squaring fixtures. The frames being used  
receive a sealant at an upstream process before entering the cell. In the cell, the robot picks the IG unit and places it into the frame.  
The frames range in size from 14” by 20” to 24” by 84”. The developed cell layout and associated squaring fixtures ensure a reliable  
assembly process. Once the finished glass, door, window etc. is complete a second robot picks the assembled unit and gently places  
it onto an L rack. This robot additionally places a separation piece of material between each unit.

CNC center, chipless drilling of a twin-heads boring machine. Drastic reduction of downtime and scrap thanks to all tasks performed

Drilling Machines—The TFV2500 carries out holes up to 85mm and mills shapes. The maximum workable thicknesses is up to  
15mm. The machine is completely automated; Grinders—Production of variable radius or cant corners with a max of 50 mm.  
Two corners can be processed simultaneously and each can be of different radius or profile; Edgers—The FPS50B is a special edition  
for small pieces. It performs grinding and polishing of flat edges with arris of glass thicknesses from 3- to 55-mm. The minimum  
machinable glass piece is a 40- by 40-mm. The maximum load is 1.800 Kg. Also, the BFP35 double edging machine is for the  
simultaneous processing of the flat edge of two glass sheet sides. The workable thickness is up to 35mm. It also has a new touch-  
screen system PLC.  
Handling equipment—Wood’s Powr-Grip’s new MRTA8-DC2 vacuum lifter is based on the design of its MRTA6-DC2. The MRTA8-DC2  
has a higher load capacity. The new design gives the lifter a higher load capacity, an increase from 1,100 pounds to 1,400 pounds  
over the MRTA6-DC2. The MRTA8-DC2 features WPG’s Quadra-Tilt, four-bar tilt mechanism, which reduces the effort required to tilt  
heavy loads between flat and upright positions. In addition, a dual vacuum system employs two completely independent vacuum  
circuits, allowing the lifter to maintain the vacuum level for one circuit, even if an unexpected vacuum loss occurs in the other.
