Window Film Industry Gathers in Vegas with Architectural and Automotive Glass Industries

With 2007 looming over us in the near future, it’s time to start marking our calendars for next year’s industry events. Among these is the annual International Window Film Conference and Expo™ (IWFE). Now in its sixth year, the 2007 event will share its location with not one but two other glass industry events—the Americas’ Glass Showcase and the 2007 Independent Glass Association’s Spring Auto Glass Show.

The three events will be co-located in Las Vegas May 17-19, 2007 (see sidebar for schedule), at the Cashman Convention Center with a host hotel of the nearby Golden Nugget.

This year’s International Window Film Conference promises to be the best yet. With a range of seminars from marketing topics, to tips for flat and auto glass installations, the event is certain to offer something for everyone in attendance.

Who Should Attend
Everyone involved in the window film industry, from owners, managers, purchasers and installers to window film manufacturers, dealers and distributors is encouraged to attend IWFE 2007. If you are involved in any of the following areas, you don’t want to miss this exciting opportunity:

The Golden Nugget, located in downtown Las Vegas on the famous Fremont Street, lies in the heart of old-time Last Vegas. You’ll get a taste of the new with the nightly light show and a sampling of the “old days” as you walk around downtown Vegas. For your dining pleasure, the Golden Nugget offers an extensive Las Vegas Buffet, Lillie’s Noodle House, offering a range of Cantonese, Szechwan and Pan Asian tastes, and Vic and Anthony’s, a traditional steakhouse. The Golden Nugget also is surrounded by other hotels, casinos and attractions, all within walking distance.

Branching Out
This year, IWFE attendees will have the opportunity to visit the Americas’ Glass Showcase and Spring Auto Glass Show for free. The two trade shows, which will be combined on one show floor with separate architectural and automotive areas, will offer plenty of ideas for diversifying your business into other areas, such as windshield repair and other related items.
